Exchange House, Broadgate, London

One of London’s most high-profile commercial property management companies, Broadgate Estates, has selected fire systems from Advanced to protect its landmark buildings as part of a multi-million pound investment programme. The contract includes the landmark Exchange House, which straddles the tracks into Liverpool Street Station.

More than 13 buildings managed by Broadgate Estates have been fitted with Advanced’s MxPro panels, ranging from simple three-panel networks to far more complex installations with 60 panels or more. Every fire system is linked to the local Building Management System (BMS) and monitored from a central control room.

MxPro is Advanced’s flagship range of multiprotocol panels, offering customers a choice of two panel ranges, four detector protocols and a completely open installer network that enjoys free training and support. MxPro panels can be used in single loop, single panel format or easily configured into high speed, 200 panel networks covering huge areas. Advanced’s legendary ease of installation and configuration and wide peripheral range make it customisable to almost any application.

The 13 buildings equipped so far include 159 MxPro panels, twinned with detectors, sounders and other peripheral devices from Apollo and Hochiki, both long-standing partners of Advanced. Advanced has also provided custom-built panels and control units for several buildings through its AdSpecials division. The company’s Advanced360 customer support and service is legendary, ensuring customers get exactly what they need from specification through sales, installation and maintenance.
