Advanced Launches Next-Generation MxPro 5 and Axis EN Fire Panels

We’re excited to introduce the latest enhancements to our trusted MxPro 5 and Axis EN ranges. Building on the strong foundation of the existing solutions, the updates are designed to improve performance and versatility, ensuring even greater peace of mind for users.

Powered by a state-of-the-art processor, the enhanced panels deliver eight times the processing power of previous models, allowing for faster response times, improved system reliability, and the ability to handle more complex installations with ease.

This upgrade brings a significant boost in performance, with faster power-up times and greatly reduced configuration transfer durations. Plus, enhanced configuration capabilities, mean support for even more complex cause-and-effect programming. These improvements make it easier than ever to manage larger and more advanced fire safety systems.

The next-generation panels feature an upgraded power supply unit, designed to offer easier replacement, improved support for third-party equipment, and extended battery life. This ensures that the panels operate with even greater reliability and uninterrupted performance.

In addition to these hardware upgrades, the upgraded panels now work with a new, intuitive programming tool – ConfigTool (PC-Net-022). This provides a much-improved user experience, with easier navigation and up to ten times faster configuration transfer times, now typically taking less than 30 seconds.

For next-generation MxPro 5 customers in the UK and Ireland, there is the added advantage of much easier connection to AdvancedLive smart fire system monitoring and management, thanks to the in-built Ethernet port.

The MxPro 5’s versatility is further enhanced by its open-protocol support for leading wired and wireless brands, including Hochiki, Argus, Nittan and Apollo (including Core protocol), bringing greater system design flexibility to meet the requirements of a wide variety of sites.

The next-generation MxPro 5 and Axis EN panels are fully backward compatible with existing models to ensure easy, cost-effectively upgrades to existing systems. The panels retain their familiar external appearance and part numbers, simplifying the integration process, while the internal design has been refined to accommodate the enhancements. Why not take a closer look in 3D?

All upgrades have undergone rigorous testing and the panels are FM-approved to EN 54 Parts 2 and 4, affirming their compliance with the highest international fire safety standards.
