Millions of commuters passing through London Bridge Station each year are protected by MxPro 5 fire panels from Advanced.
London Bridge Station, the fourth busiest station in the UK, underwent a £1billion redevelopment in the late 2010s that saw passenger capacity almost double. The five-year redevelopment, the biggest rail infrastructure transformation in London for over a century, was directed by Network Rail and involved the construction of a 15-platform street-level concourse, longer than the Shard is tall.
MxPro 5 is Advanced’s highest performance analogue addressable panel, approved to EN54 parts 2, 4 and 13 offering four detector protocols and a completely open installer network that enjoys free training and support. MxPro panels can be used in single loop, single panel format or easily configured into multi-loop, high speed, 200 panel networks covering huge areas and thousands of field devices.
Advanced is a member of the Rail Industry Fire Association (RIFA) and MxPro panels have been installed in a number of other rail-related buildings, including the Tottenham Court Road Crossrail station, almost 100 London Underground stations, the Hitachi Rail Europe factory in Newton Aycliffe and the Tyne & Wear Metro.
